Implant Surgery & Bone Grafts
Trust An Oral Surgeon For Your Dental Implants Procedure.
Dental implant surgery replaces the root area of the tooth with metal, screw-like posts. These posts are installed into the jawbone, where they provide a strong base for an artificial tooth, known as a crown. This surgery can be performed in several steps depending upon the kind of implant you’re getting and the health of your jawbone.
Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone with material from the patient′s own body, an artificial, synthetic, or natural substitute. Bone grafting is possible because bone tissue has the ability to regenerate completely if provided the space into which it has to grow. As natural bone grows, it generally replaces the graft material completely, resulting in a fully integrated region of new bone.
Bone grafts are used as a filler and scaffold to facilitate bone formation and promote wound healing. These grafts are bioresorbable and have no antigen-antibody reaction. These bone grafts act as a mineral reservoir that induces new bone formation.

Crowns on Implants
Don’t let a missing tooth go ignored
Implant crowns are the finishing touches after dental implants have been installed. These devices are placed on the abutment fitted on the external-facing end of the implant, and they look just like real teeth.
If you have a missing tooth, your bone structure will lack the stimulation that occurs naturally between your tooth and bone in order to keep a healthy bone structure. With a missing tooth, this area of the jaw will become weak and begin to deteriorate, which can actually lead to further tooth loss down the road. Alpine Dental Implant specialists can help you restore your smile and maintain your oral health.

Dentures secured by Implants (Over-dentures)
Missing Most Or All Your Teeth?
You Have an Options. Dentures secured by Implants (Over-dentures) are held in place not just by the gums, but by either a few remaining teeth or by metal posts that are implanted in the jawbone. Overdentures attach to a few remaining teeth or — more frequently — implants in the gums. To fit implant-supported overdentures, the dentist inserts metal posts into the jawbone. The denture snaps onto extensions that protrude from the gums. The procedure to fit implant-supported dentures involves dental surgery and may take up to six months to complete. To fit snap-on dentures, Dr Lee will perform a surgical procedure to insert implants into the jawbone. The implants look like small, metal cylinders or screws. Over the next two to six months, the bone grows around the implants and they become firmly embedded. During this time, the patient can wear immediate dentures. Many patients undergo a second surgery, in which the dentist attaches a locator to the implants. These locators protrude from the gums and serve as the bases for the dentures. After approximately a two-week healing period, the denture can be attached to the locators. Some locators allow the patient to snap the dentures on and off, and others permanently fix the replacement teeth to the implants. In some cases, you may be able to have a single procedure that encompasses the placement of both the implant posts and the locators. Make an appointment to see if this option is suitable for you.
Full Arch Implants (aka All-on-4)
Premium, Cost-Effective Solutions For Tooth Loss
Implants are a way to get the most natural-looking and behaving replacement teeth. However, the standard implant procedure is not always physically viable or convenient. In this situation, the All-on-4 Dental Implant procedure can be a better solution. All-on-4 is an alternative to placing a top or bottom set of replacement teeth, called a full arch. Four dental implants are placed in the available bone, avoiding the need for bone grafting. Special abutments are used so that a temporary set of replacement teeth can be placed on the same day. You follow a modified diet while the gum tissues heal and the implants bond with your natural bone. After about six months, the permanent replacement teeth will be placed and you can resume a regular diet. Call 201-302-0700 to request a Free Consultation and see if this option is right for you.
